You connect your Gmail and tell Aileron which senders to watch (your school, PTA, coaches, etc.). Aileron scans those emails four times a day, extracts the important stuff — dates, deadlines, action items — and sends you a clean summary on WhatsApp. It also auto-adds events to your Google Calendar. Between summaries, you can text Aileron anytime to ask questions about any email it's seen.
School newsletters, teacher updates, PTA announcements, activity signups, coach emails, field trip permission slips, event invitations, and anything else from the senders you choose. It handles long PDF newsletters, Evite and SignUpGenius invitations, and even images of school flyers. You control exactly which senders Aileron watches.
Yes. All email content and personal data is encrypted at rest. Aileron never trains AI models on your emails. We never sell your data. You can delete all your data at any time from your settings page. We use Google's standard OAuth for email access — we never see or store your Gmail password.
Aileron is free during the private beta. We'll announce pricing before the beta ends, and beta users will get early-adopter pricing. We're building a product worth paying for, not an ad-supported data grab.
No. Aileron only reads emails from senders you explicitly approve. You add specific email addresses (like your school's newsletter address) to your monitored list. Everything else is ignored entirely.
Yes! You can add family members (partner, nanny, grandparent) and they get their own WhatsApp or SMS line to Aileron. They can ask questions about your school emails, check the calendar, and get status updates — without needing their own Gmail connected. They get read-only access, so they can look but can't dismiss your action items.
Just tell Aileron and it'll fix it. You can also correct details like which child an event belongs to by texting something like "that soccer game is for Lila, not Ben." Aileron learns from your corrections.
No. Aileron messages you on your regular WhatsApp number. No separate app, no new account. Family members can also receive messages via SMS if they prefer.
Aileron works with any school that sends emails. It's been tested extensively with DC-area schools including NCS, Maret, Sidwell, Janney, and others, but it handles any school newsletter format. If your school sends emails, Aileron can read them.
Join the waitlist below and we'll reach out when we have a spot for you. During the beta, we onboard families personally to make sure everything is set up right. The whole setup takes about 5 minutes.
